Welcome to Virtual Ventures.
This little corner of the internet is being built as a cosy creative workshop: part crochet journal, part pattern library, part shop window, part bookshelf, and part behind-the-scenes diary.
It is where I’ll be sharing crochet projects, pattern ideas, KDP book updates, digital files, laser engraving experiments, product photography, shop progress, and all the tiny steps involved in building a handmade business from scratch.
It will not be perfect on day one.
That is part of the story.
Some days this place will look like warm coffee, tidy yarn, and neat pattern notes. Other days it will look like test pieces, failed photos, half-written ideas, and a desk that has become a small craft weather event.
Both belong here.

Why I’m building this
Virtual Ventures is about making things properly and giving them somewhere to live.
A crochet pattern deserves clear photos.
A planner deserves a better cover.
A finished project deserves a place in the archive.
A laser engraved detail deserves testing.
A website deserves warmth.
Everything connects.
The website supports the crochet. The crochet supports the books. The books support the shop. The blog supports the journey. The photos tie the whole thing together.
That is the heart of Virtual Ventures.
A handmade ecosystem of yarn, paper, wood, leather, tools, and stubborn imagination.
What happens next
The blog will grow as the work grows.
Some posts will be about crochet. Some will be about KDP books. Some will be about website progress, photography, laser engraving, past projects, or building the shop.
There will be small wins, fixes, experiments, and probably a few “why did this not work?” moments too.
That is how handmade things become real.
